I think I’ve figured out the fundamental flaw in the universe. Sadly, it can’t be fixed by us as people. Namely because that flaw is human nature. And I don’t think I want it fixed.
Ideas
January 29, 2008I’ve run out of ideas on how to shamelessly plug The Tactical Gaming Podcast. I have honestly run out of ideas. I’ve used this blog, my IM, Myspace, iTunes reviews, Xbox LIVE, My Deviant Art Journals (which no one reads), my forum signatures, and plain old word of mouth. I NEED IDEAS!
Everything
January 28, 2008I just thought that you should know that I watch everything turn right into gold as I watch it move.
Nine Dollars, Ten Euros and a London Underground pass.
January 28, 2008Yes, the number is that random. But at the same time its not. (Thats all hanging on my wall above my Halo poster, but thats not the point) Hmm, 22 Juno 07. Feels like longer. Anyway, may as well make it one of them this day in history posts. The only thing worth noting, the 1941 independence movement of Lithuania began today. In 1941. Yeah. That’s about it. Enjoy.
Condemned: Criminal Origins
January 28, 2008I know its old, it was a 360 launch title, but I just got the demo. Its prettty sweet. Intense as crap. I suppose its definitely worth a rent, or if you can find it for 10 bucks at wal-mart or somewhere, worth it. Intense, dark, creepy, jump out at you. It also feels arecade-ish (thanks alot sega) but you will get over it. Good graphics, and alot of fun.
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty
January 25, 2008So, this game demo also recently appeared on the XBLA. It’s… very reminiscent of the Medal of Honor series. In both game play style and graphic style. And if TP:FOL was going for a realistic feel, they failed miserably. the controls work for what they are trying to do, but not much more. Very much run and gun style FPS. And unless they pull out the stops, and make multiplayer truly awesome, its probably not worth it.
Devil May Cry 4
January 25, 2008So the Devil May Cry 4 demo was released yesterday on the XBLA, so I though it needed a download. So I figure, might as well let you know what I think. (For those of you who care.) So, here we go.
DMC4 is very Capcom. It has the feel of many other Capcom games, and by that I mean it feels like something that should be in an arcade. The game is quite easy, as it looked in the preview. I will admit that I died once, but that was from some move that could take away 3/4 of your health. But if I was to make a comparison, I would say its like Ninja Gaiden. With guns. That you can actually beat.
Personally, I’m not going to buy it, but I’ll defiantly rent or borrow it.
A post for posts sake
January 25, 2008This is just a post, so that I have one. I figure, when I feel like there is something to post, I will post it. Why not for the sake of it, plug in The Tactical Gaming Podcast
Best podcast ever. Just though I would say that again.
